thankful 的用法详解

什么是 thankful？

thankful 是一个形容词，意思是“感激的”、“庆幸的”。它通常用来表达对某人或某事的感谢之情，或对避免坏事发生的庆幸。

基本结构

• be thankful for + 名词/代词：因……而感激
• be thankful to + 人 + for + 事情：因某事而感谢某人
• be thankful that...：庆幸……（后接从句）

thankful vs. grateful

这两个词意思相近，常可互换，但略有区别：

• grateful 更正式，多用于书面语或对具体帮助表示感谢；
• thankful 更侧重“庆幸”或“松了一口气”的感觉，常用于口语。

注意事项

• thankful 是形容词，不能直接作动词使用。例如不能说 “I thankful you”，正确说法是 “I’m thankful to you” 或 “Thank you”。
• 不要与名词 thanks 或动词 thank 混淆。
