“And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.’” — Qur’an 14:7
In Islam, gratitude (shukr) is a fundamental virtue. Muslims are encouraged to constantly acknowledge and appreciate the countless blessings bestowed by Allah (SWT), both big and small.
Giving thanks is not only an act of worship but also a means of drawing closer to Allah. It cultivates humility, contentment, and mindfulness of divine grace in everyday life.
Whether through prayer, kind words, or good deeds, expressing gratitude strengthens faith and brings peace to the heart.
May we always remember to say: Alhamdulillah — “All praise is due to Allah.”
